Rest-On Connection – are used mostly for lorry trailers, rigid and tipper lorries have a pre drilled hole with a safety bolt and steel bracket that goes between the bed of the vehicle and the tail door to keep the ramps secure.
Hook Connection – For Hooking into a Channel or onto steel bar.
Tube Connection – For 45mm metal round bar
Bottom Hook Connection – For low loaders trailers
The following are recommended for use with rest on connections, to avoid the ramp from slipping off the platform;
Safety bolt – simply just put the bolt through the pre-drilled hole and the floor of the trailer/truck
Steel bracket – used when the back door is down the bracket fits under the rest on connection and drops between the bed of the vehicle and the tail door.
Safety Chain – can be secured from the ramps to the back of the trailer/truck
